Kandies Bailey here! As I've always had a passion for cooking and baking, in 2012, I decided to take my love for baking to the next level by enrolling in cake decorating courses. I practiced daily, honing my skills after completing four cake decorating courses, and let's just say I went through a lot of butter, flour, and sugar along the way! Every moment was worth it.

As I shared my homemade treats with friends and family, the requests for cupcakes started pouring in. That was my motivation to turn my passion into a business. My love for coffee and tea also played a part, as I enjoyed pairing these beverages with my desserts. So, in 2021, after researching how to start my own brand, I reached out to distributors and after a few months of emails, phone calls, and meetings, I proudly launched KB's Sweets Coffee in April 2021, followed by tea in May.

In May 2022, I hosted my first event—a Manifestation Board Lunch where attendees created vision boards while being inspired by guest speakers, poetry, food, and music. It was a huge success, and I decided to make it an annual tradition. In September 2022, I hosted Rap & Cupcake, an event where guests decorate cupcakes while enjoying live performances by local hip-hop artists. It was a fun, unique twist on events! Now, Rap & Cupcake is another annual celebration I look forward to.

Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do, and I am no longer afraid to share it with the world. I hope my journey inspires you to follow your dreams, embrace your creativity, and take bold steps toward your passions.
